The Wise Owl and the Mischievous Squirrel

Once upon a time, in a forest far, far away,
lived a wise old owl called Ollie.
Ollie was known throughout the forest for his wisdom.
All the animals came to him for advice and guidance.

One day, a mischievous squirrel called named

Sammy came to visit Ollie.
Sammy was always up to something,
and Ollie knew it. But he welcomed Sammy anyway.
Sammy said to Ollie, "I hear you're the wisest animal in the forest.
Is that true?"
Ollie replied, "I don't know,
but I do try my best to help my fellow creatures."
Sammy chuckled, "Well, I think I'm pretty smart too.
Maybe even smarter than you!"
Ollie raised an eyebrow, "Is that so? Well,
I'm always open to learning new things.
Why don't you tell me what you know?"

And so Sammy proceeded to tell Ollie all about his mischievous adventures.
about his mischievous adventures in the forest.
He bragged about stealing nuts from the other animals
from the other animals and played tricks on them.

Ollie listened patiently,
but he could see through Sammy's bragging.
He knew Sammy was just trying to impress him.

Finally Ollie said, "Sammy, it's good to have fun,
but not at the expense of others.
You should treat others with kindness and respect."

Sammy thought for a moment and then said,
"You know what, Ollie? You're right.
I'm sorry for being so mean.
I'll try to be better from now on."
And with that, Sammy left,
feeling a little wiser and a little humbler.

From that day on, Sammy was a changed man.
He still had his mischievous streak,
but he used it in a more positive way.
And Ollie was still the wise old owl
that everyone looked up to.
